This year, we couldn’t wait until Christmas to cook Prime Rib. This holiday Prime Rib was cooked the weekend before Christmas. It turned out totally awesome.
A 4 rib roast was used and followed the preparation and cooking instructions here: http://whatscookingamerica.net/Beef/ClassicPrimeRib.htm. The horseradish & blue cheese sauce recipe was used as well. Both were excellent.
One addition I made was to make his own pepper and mustard rub to give the meat a spicy peppery crust that is big taste.
