Indianapolis Hot Dog

This week I made an Indy Hot Dog for the SNF football game — and it was awesome.

The Indianapolis area is famous for their breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches so I decided what could be better than doing a pork loin — hot dog style. I followed Dave’s recipe to make the breaded pork loin and it was fantastic — the breading formed a crispy outer shell and the pork was tender and moist !

To serve, I used a  hoagie bun, one side covered with mustard the other with mayonnaise. Filled with half a pork loin cut into strips the long way and topped with quartered grape tomatoes and diced onion.
