A clod steak is a great tasting and inexpensive cut of meat. It’s great if you’re on a budget or just want to try something different.
The clod comes from the chuck but with some marinade and cooked medium rare it tastes great.
This clod was marinaded for 6 hours in a 2 cups of red wine and seasoned with salt and pepper. Grilled for 5 minutes per side. Really tender and mildly flavored.
