This is a huge super tasty sandwich to satisfy the biggest appetite. This sandwich fed my whole family AND we had leftovers for lunch the next day. It’s got a trifecta on the meat with chicken, ham and bacon. Plus a ton of good vegetables. Served on a huge french bread this sandwich won’t let anyone go hungry.
Ingredients:
- 1 French bread loaf
- 3 heaping spoonfuls mayonnaise
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 grilled chicken breasts, sliced.
- 3 pieces cooked bacon,
- 4 slices deli black forest ham
- 1 cup chunky salsa, drained of liquid.
- 2 avocados, sliced
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 375
- Slice French bread in half. Using a fork, scoop out some of the bread from each half so that each side looks like a boat. Careful not to scoop out too much – the structure of the bread still needs to be strong and we’re just looking to reduce some of the bread and create a nice vehicle for all the sandwich contents.
- Place both pieces of bread on a cookie sheet. Inside face up. Layer cheese on bread that will be the top.
- Bake in oven until cheese starts to melt & remove
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom.
- Layer chicken, avacaodo on bottom.
- Layer ham, salsa on the top.
- Put both side togehter and cook in oven a few more minutes just to warm up.
- Remove, cut into sandwich slices, eat!
